once in a while, an event arises that
is simply beyond our own means. I now
have one of those and I am appealing to
you. There are, of course, no obligations.
Asking for help is always difficult and
giving it to others sometimes impossible.
Go Fund Me has been established for my
wife, Debbie, to raise money to deal with
travel expenses, medical bills, and to
have someone with her at the Cleveland
Clinic during her heart surgery. Debbie
needs very serious open heart surgery
for a genetic defect called hypertrophic
cardiomyopathy obstructive. Essentially,
they have to open her heart and, with
a laser, cut 1MM off an internal heart
wall that is 2mm thick. There are other
procedures that will also be done at this
time. She is expected to be in Cleveland
for 7 to 10 days before returning home
for a recovery time of 3 to 6 months during
which time she will not be able to work.
is currently starting into constructive
heart failure as complications continue
to accumulate so the clock has been running
out. It has been a hard 5 years trying
all non-invasive procedures. She is now
scheduled to be at the Cleveland Clinic
on August 21. This surgery will add 5
to 7 years to her life and then a heart
transplant will be the next step giving
her another 5 to 7 years. A hell of a
thing to face
when you are 51 years old. I am unable
to be with her due to many obligations
here including the horse farm (which is
very dear to her), construction by the
Utah Department of Transportation on the
property, and a host of other delightful

far, a small amount of $240 has been contributed.
As you should know, failure is never an
option with me. So, I am going to set
about changing things.
Using the line from the movie Fifth Element
and Zorg "I know this music, let's
change the beat.", I am setting about
changing the situation. Rather appropriate
for what needs to be done and the industry
I have served for over 30 years. I would
appreciate anything that you can do and
to spread the word and, in the words of
Zorg, "Change the Beat."
you for the consideration and any assistance
you can provide.
